We have seen good results in the treatment of warts with Maveracream® Propolis, if they are caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

An infection with the majority of the over 200 different types of HPV does not produce any symptoms in humans but some types can cause warts (verrucae) on any part of the body, including the genital area, while a minority can result in cancer.

The combination of Propolis, mangosteen, Aloe Vera, teatree oil and willow bark in Maveracream® Propolis seems to be very effective against HPV. However, it is essential to use the cream consistently at least twice daily for a minimum of 10 days to ensure successful treatment. Of all the other usal treatments the right application of salicylic acid has no important side effects, lunar caustic, fluorouracil may cause severe inflammations, necrosis and scars, surgery and laser therapy may cause controlled, small scars, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen seems to have the best results.

Because the HP Virus can live inside the skin cells for years without symptoms even after the best treatment it may cause a reinfection.
